Beijing Geometry and Physics Colloquium is a series of mini-workshops, originally in Beijing area, rotating among several institutions. This series of colloquia was initiated by Professor Yongbin Ruan. The first colloquium was held at BICMR, Peking University on March 7th, 2015. Professor Rahul Pandharipande was the inaugural speaker. The topic is about "stringy" mathematical physics, in a very broad sense. When this colloquium happens at one institution, people from that institution are responsible for the organizing work.
This series of colloquiua will expand into other cities in China.
